Garden
Nearby there’s plenty of space, and the different sounds of Nature predominate, from Nightingales in the Spring to Cicadas in the Summer; the complete absence of urban clatter is one of the benefits that bring our guests back year after year and many are happiest simply walking with Nature, discovering secret nooks in the shade of magnificent umbrella pines or a grove of cork oaks hidden in the valley …
 
All of the apartments are on the first floor and are available for individual rental. Three of them sleep 4-6, while the remaining two are slightly smaller and sleep 2-3.
All of them are furnished with a cooker, microwave oven and electric heating. The sitting rooms are large and comfortable and have an open fire and satelit-TV. In front of the house there’s a patio with barbecue facilities and a swimming pool, while the whole house is set within a beautiful mature garden.
 Localisation
Monte da Choça is situated in the southernmost part of the Alentejo between São Teotónio and Odeceixe. The airport at Faro is roughly an hour and a half away, and that at Lisbon about three.
The town of São Teotónio itself is just 5 km away and here you can find anything you might need, shops and supermarkets, banks, a post office, a chemist, restaurants, etc.
The best beaches of the whole Costa Vicentina are right on your doorstep; Carvalhal, Alteirinhos, Odeceixe or Zambujeira are the ideal choices for those who love sun, sand and sea.
The countryside surrounding Monte da Choça offers a wide selection of different habitats for those who like to observe nature, from the spectacular cliffs that abound along this coastline to the overgrown valleys and plains dotted with cork trees.
Maps are available for the surrounding area and the owner is always willing to advise and suggest the right itinerary for your particular request.
